Christmas Show Time at Lansbury Court Care Home

It was Christmas show time at Sunderland Care Home, Lansbury Court, as the home was visited by a fantastic singer from “Musical Memories”, Michaela.

Michaele arrived at the home to perform some class Christmas hits for the residents and that was all it took to get everyone who could, up and dancing to the music, whilst everybody else merrily clapped and sang along.

“I will sleep tonight after all that dancing”, laughed Betty, one of the homes residents.

“Entertainment is a key part of our activities plan here at Lansbury Court. Not only is it a good bit of fun for everyone, but it also a great way for residents to get in a little bit of exercise into their day, even simply clapping along to the music is vital to their care," commented Christine Callaghan and Alison Tribe, the homes Activities Coordinators.
