Beach Party Fun at Green Park

Warrington care home Green Park has recently decided to celebrate and honour each of the units in their home by hosting individual parties for them. Cavendish unit had the pleasure of being transported to a sunny beach for their party.

The home was transformed and the residents were amazed to see seagulls above their heads and water at their feet. It was heartwarming for the staff to see residents with smiles on their faces having heaps of fun with their loved ones.

The daughter of one of the residents, Kirsty said “it was so lovely; the activities team are so good.” The entertainer Phil Mckean had many of the group up on their feet singing and dancing away whilst the others watched on with an ice cream in their hand and a smile on their face. One of the relatives of a resident said “It is so wonderful to see everyone dancing, so many smiling happy faces.”
