Ashlea Mews Make a New Friend

Staff from Ashlea Mews Care Home reached out to the public via their Facebook page asking if anyone would like to send letter or cards to cheer residents up throughout these difficult times.

The first letter they received was from Imogen, her letter put a smile on the faces of all the residents and they were very grateful that she had taken the time out to write to them.

The married couple, Margaret and Gordon decided to write back to her, letting her know what they have been doing to keep busy and what their favourite hobbies are. Margaret loves writing letters, so this was the perfect task for her, “it was so nice to get a random letter, how kind of Imogen to write to us,” Margaret said.

Ashlea Mews are hoping this is the first of many letters that they will receive, and they can’t wait to see who else writes to them.
