1920's Open Day
Residents and staff at Lansbury Court, Sunderland put on quite the show for their open day. Based on the 1967 musical ‘”Thoroughly Modern Millie”, Residents and staff donned their best 1920’s jazz club attire and put on a fantastic show.
Residents also took part in a tombola, a bit of fun and friendly competition is always good, especially when chocolate, pop and biscuits are on the line!
Getting the whole home together to put on a show is a great way for residents and staff to bond, Working together to achieve the same end goal is not only an excellent way for the residents to feel a wonderful sense of achievement and pride… It’s also great fun!
Let’s see those jazz hands!
