Care Home - Receptionist

Location: Thornton Hall and Lodge - 16 - 18 Tanhouse Road, Crosby, Thornton, Liverpool, Merseyside, L23 1UB

Salary: £12.21 per hour
Schedule/Hours: 24 hours per week. This would include weekends and a day during the week. Shift days and times to be discussed at interview. 

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a receptionist to join our dedicated team within Penwortham Grange and Lodge. As the first face that visitors will see and the first voice they will hear you’ll play a vital role in making them feel welcome, valued and supported.

About the role:

You will be responsible for welcoming visitors into the care home and handling telephone calls in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. You’ll direct visitors and calls to the right people and assist the administrator and the Home Manager with general duties as and when required.

• Good numerical and word processing skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• Friendly, confident and well-presented
• Professional telephone manner
• Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
