“The Simonator” Is Back at Ashlea Mews Care Home

Every fortnight residents from Ashlea Mews Care Home are treated to a special fitness session from Simon aka “The Simonator”.

Simon’s visit was very welcomed as residents always have a great time when he is around, Simon visits each floor of the home and does different fitness activities with all of the residents. Simon’s most recent visit saw residents working on their hand-eye coordination with some ball games, along with a variety of simple activities to stimulate their minds. Vera got involved in all the games and had a great time, she said she loves Simon’s sessions as they keep her active whilst having fun.

To finish off the session, the group enjoyed a lovely sing-a-long to their favourite hits as they sat back and relaxed after all their hard work. Everyone is looking forward to Simon’s next visit and can’t wait to see what he has in store for them.
