Summer Hanging Basket Project at Langfield Care Home

The fruits and vegetables planted by staff and residents at Langfield Care Home in Middleton, are starting to flourish and the residents are delighted to see their produce grow. Resident have also been working on a summer hanging basket project, potting flowers and greenery, which adds vibrancy to the outdoor space. Susan Walsh, Home Manager, said; “The garden projects have created a warm atmosphere within the home environment. The residents enjoy working with each another, and seeing the fruits of their labour.” Mobile potting benches have recently been placed in the garden’s courtyard, encouraging residents to enjoy productive afternoons in the fresh air.
