Striking Spring Watch Wall

The sunny mornings this month have been uplifting for us all and they have encouraged staff and residents to get involved in the Orchard Care Homes Spring Watch project. Residents from Lymewood Court, St Helens, have created a striking Spring Watch wall within the home, highlighting the colours, sights and sounds of spring, and the seasonal activities they have been enjoying. Groups of residents have also been doing a spot of birdwatching, listening out for squawks during their walks, and keen gardeners have been planting sunflower seeds in the garden. The Spring Watch wall includes photographs from these walks, spring-themed and bright artwork, and crafted daffodils. Arts and crafts activities are popular across our homes and creating displays of work which the residents have done like this supports the personality and individuality of a home.
