The staff kindly volunteered to take the residents out on their day off from work, they visited their local club and danced the evening away. An Abba and Elvis tribute band were the star performers for the night and they impressed residents with some great renditions of their favourite hits.

Not only did they get to meet Elvis performer as he came out and spent some time with the residents after his performance but they also bonded with members of the public. Many people came over to the group and chatted away with them, one of our residents Lena, even met some friends of her children which was a lovely surprise. Lena couldn’t wipe the smile off her face as she said, “it was such a great night, I sang my heart out and saw people I haven’t seen in years!”

It surely was a fantastic night with every member of the group heading home with a smile on their face, Home Manager Vicky was beaming with pride as she said, “what a fabulous night, all my staff made it such a great night for all the residents, great fun was had by all.”
