Oomph Trip to Clifton Hotel for Ashlea Mews Residents

Eight of the residents from Ashlea Mews Care Home went on the trip, with four of them visiting in the morning whilst the other four headed there in the afternoon.

The group made their way to the hotel via the coast, residents enjoyed looking out of the window and seeing the view of the seaside which bought back many memories for them.

Once they got to the hotel residents couldn’t hide how impressed they were by the décor and all agreed that it was a lovely place. They sat back and relaxed at the hotel whilst tucking into the fabulous spread that had been put on for them, they all chatted away reminiscing about their younger days.

On their way back to the home they talked about what a nice time they had, Rita told the others, “I really enjoyed myself, I wish I could do this every day,” whilst Ellen said, “I’ve had a lovely time, it was so nice and relaxing!”
