Musical Memories with Michaela at Ashlea Mews Care Home

Residents from Ashlea Mews Care Home enjoyed a performance from Musical Memories with Michaela.

All the residents from the home came along to see Michaela’s performance and it went down a treat! She performed songs from the 1930’s and 40’s and had the residents singing and dancing along. The songs bought back many memories for the residents as they recalled their younger days when they listened to these songs with great big smiles on their faces.

Michaela was interacting with the group all the way through which they loved, she let residents picked out which songs she should sing and made sure to include everyone. Vera said, “I had so much fun singing and dancing, I couldn’t stop smiling throughout!”
