Lansbury Court Celebrate Their Summer Fair

Lansbury Court went all out with their summer fete and had lots of fun things on offer!

They had a variety of stalls set up which everyone loved, particularly the cake stall, which was the biggest hit of the event. The stall offered chocolate fudge cake, cupcakes and carrot cake. Yum!

The home also organised some arts and crafts which residents of Lansbury enjoyed doing so this was the perfect activity, an entertainer was called to the home to perform and this got everyone in to the party spirit. A lot of the group were up on their feet dancing and having fun which was lovely to see, Doreen said “lovely afternoon, I enjoyed the dancing, this was something I thought I couldn’t manage.”

Residents Dora and Susan helped to serve which they very much enjoyed doing as it enabled them to feel involved. The money raised by the event will go towards gardening items for the home which everyone is very excited about!
