Langfield Resident Ethel Enjoys a Day Out Grocery Shopping

Langfield resident Ethel got the chance to do her own grocery shopping and loved every minute of it!

Ethel loves sitting and eating a few pieces of fruit daily, she keeps a bowl of fruit in her room which she can tuck into whenever she pleases. Ethel is always asking staff at the home to top up the bowl of fruit for her so they decided to encourage her to go out and do her own grocery shop.

Ethel was given the chance to pick what fruit she wanted herself which she loved. She decided she wanted to make a day of it so she spent the afternoon having lunch with her friends, they sat together and enjoyed a cup of tea with some yummy lunch.

Ethel said “I had a truly wonderful day, it was just marvellous.”
