Green Park Soak Up the Sunshine

Staff from Green Park spoke to residents and asked them what their favourite plants were before surprising them.

Activities Co-ordinators Gill and Lisa bought the residents both plants and other equipment to use, to brighten up the front of the home.

With the sun shining the team headed to the garden and got to work, residents Ivy and Gill helped to take all the plants outside the car and placed them out in the garden. Frank took great pleasure in sharing the names of the plants with everyone.

“I used to love gardening at home, this brings back so many happy memories,” Ivy commented.

The day ended with residents welcoming a visit from an ice cream van much to their delight.
