Early Christmas Lunch at Morrisons for Ashlea Mews Care Home

Residents from Ashlea Mews Care Home in South Shields were invited to their local Morrisons to enjoy a yummy Christmas lunch.

Morrisons very kindly reached out to our residents and asked them to pay a visit to their café, this was an offer they couldn’t refuse so off they went.

Morisons put on a full Christmas spread, made up of a roast turkey and non-alcoholic wine, residents thoroughly enjoyed their meal and felt very grateful that they had been invited.

They finished their meal with a good old Christmas pudding with the choice of custard or brandy sauce, this was enjoyed with a nice cup of tea. Everyone was all smiles on their way home with Rita M saying, “what a magical moment, the food was fantastic and the company was great!”
