Cherry Trees in Rotherham has been decking the halls and creating plenty of festive activity over the past few weeks. Hot onf the reindeer hooves of an 'Elf Day' to raise money for Alzheimer's Society, the home held a church service where everyone joined in the Christmas carol singing, ahead of an enjoyable Christmas party. The recent Christmas fair welcomed many visitors to the numerous stalls, with refreshments and a 'guess the weight of the cake' competition. There was even a visit from Father Christmas. "Our residents love this time of the year," Said one member of staff, "And we have had so many activities and visitors. It's a very jolly time to be in and around the home."
