Children in Need Celebrations at Cherry Trees Care Home
Resident and staff from Rotherham care home Cherry Trees dressed up in order to raise some money for Children in Need.
Staff from the home dressed up for the occasion, they showed off their yellow t-shirts, Pudsey pear onesies and of course cute headbands! Residents were very impressed by all of the outfits with some of them even getting involved themselves and wearing headbands.
The highlight of the day was the lovely breakfast buffet that was put on for the residents, they enjoyed a variety of foods, from sweet to savoury they had it all. Once they had devoured their breakfast some residents sat back and watched some morning tv whilst others had a read of the daily paper. Maurice was all smiles as she said, “wow this is just like being back at home!”
The rest of the day consisted of table top games, socialising and more yummy food.
