Cherry Trees Visit Clifton Park Museum For Dementia Action Week
For dementia action week the residents of Cherry Trees care home went on a trip to their local museum, Clifton Park Museum.
The museum is popular attraction in Rotherham as it carries a lot of the areas rich history so makes for an educational trip. The residents all enjoyed walking around the gardens and taking in the beautiful views that surround the museum.
Alongside this they also managed to learn a lot about the local area in which the museum is located, many of the residents from Cherry Trees care home grew up in the area where the museum is, therefore they loved being able to be educated on the historical events that took place in the area.
Residents Joan, Morjory, Vicki,and June had smiles on their faces all day long and commented of the trip out saying, “we really enjoyed the day and had a fantastic time exploring”.
