Pictured in the photo is William Pridmore, a resident from Cherry Trees in South Yorkshire, with two members of a choir from Redscope Primary School. The choir visited Cherry Trees the week before Christmas to sing carols at the home. Stanley Malia, who also lives in Cherry Trees, was one resident in particular who enjoyed the performance. As a young man, Stanley was part of his local church choir for many years, before moving on to perform as a solo artist in the local pubs and clubs. “I was known as Eddy Nelson, a reversal of my idol Nelson Eddy”, said Stanley. “Stanley has really enjoyed the singing within the home this Christmas”, said Activity Coordinator Lisa Webster. “He led the singing at the Cherry Trees Christmas party".
