Ashlea Mews Summer Fair Celebrations

Lovely weather and a room full of people made for a successful summer fair at Ashlea Mews Care Home

Tyne & Wear based home Ashlea Mews went all out for the event and treated their guests to refreshments, games and entertainment. There was a great turn out at the home with resident’s friends and families turning up alongside people from the local community.

There was fun and laughter coming from all corners of the room as residents and visitors enjoyed the games on offer, they did a raffle, lucky dip, tombola and made the most of the bric-a-brac. There was also a variety of stalls selling homemade pies and cakes, yum! Guests enjoyed hotdogs, burgers and coffees as they spoke to the residents and explored the home.

There was a special guest at the event, singer Michael Stevens who entertained all by putting on a show, he had everyone engaged!  All the money raised from the fair will go towards resident’s funds and spent on outings and entertainment.
