Ashlea Mews Have a Visit from Entertainer Elvis

An entertainer who impersonates Elvis paid a visit to South Shields care home Ashlea Mews to perform for the residents.

The residents were very excited to welcome the performer into the home and sang along to many of the songs. It reminded them of their younger days and of the music that they used to listen to which was lovely for them to reminisce on. Rita said, “wow Elvis has brought back many happy memories”.

Entertainer Elvis is a regular visitor at the home and has become a hit with all of the residents. A lot of the residents were up on their feet enjoying themselves, they had smiles on their faces and were singing along to everything. Lena told everyone “I really enjoyed myself and sang my heart out.”
