A Little Taste of America Comes to Green Park

They started the day off at Green Park by creating their very own amazing water colour pictures.

Residents used their imaginations to paint their own interpretation of the statue of liberty. The end creations were bright, colourful and full of life.

No American themed day would be complete without an abundance of glorious food, staff arranged for a fantastic spread made up of, pancakes, southern fried chicken, coca cola and lots of snacks!

Many of the residents had been to America when they were younger so they spent some time talking about their favourite things about the country and looking at pictures of how much it has changed over the years.
