Staff from the home got into the festive spirit and wore full elf costumes which residents loved, they decided to get involved too so put on elf inspired hats, resident Pat said, “everyone looked fantastic, the staff always try really hard to do something different.”

They all gathered around in the lounge area of the home and enjoyed a buffet of food and drinks whilst watching the live entertainment that had been organised for them.

The staff from the Thornton Hall & Lodge organised boxes to be given to their local food banks and got together over 20 pairs of pyjamas that they will be donating to the LFC homeless charity. It was a great day for resident, the home’s deputy Emma said, “lovely to see all residents and staff enjoying themselves for a good cause.”
