Penwortham Receives Positive Report from Healthwatch Lancashire

Penwortham Grange and Lodge care homes in Preston are delighted to announce the result of their most recent report from Healthwatch Lancashire, a high 4.7 out of 5. Representatives from Healthwatch Lancashire, part of the national consumer champion for health and social care, visited the home as part of their Enter and View programme. The home rated highly on a clean, safe and homely environment, providing an efficient and effective service. Writing to Orchard Care Homes this month, Councillor Keith Martin, a member of Penwortham Town Council and Chair of the My Neighbourhood forum for South Ribble, said “I would like to congratulate you on your excellent report from Healthwatch Lancashire at Penwortham Grange and Lodge. It is very pleasing to hear that residents feel they are special and well-looked after by your staff”. Jane Thompson, Regional Operations Manager, comments “We are delighted to have received such positive feedback, both in the report from Healthwatch and in the response from the councillor. We pride ourselves on our home and we work hard to meet the needs of every individual resident, creating an enjoyable living experience, and it is great to hear we are achieving this”.
