Bonfire Night Fun at Cherry Trees

Residents from Cherry Trees have gotten creative this Bonfire night.

They began their celebrations by making chocolate covered apples, residents were very excited and couldn’t wait to tuck into these. They then took their creativity one step further and made their very own Guy Fawkes!

This took residents right back to their childhood as June laughed and said, “I remember making Guy Fawkes as a child and going out asking, ‘penny for the guy.’ June’s memory inspired the rest of the residents to tell stories about their childhood bonfire nights.

Activity Coordinator Lisa said “it was interesting to hear all their childhood stories and see them laughing and joking making their Guy Fawkes”
