A Taste of Scotland for Green Lodge

In celebration of Burns Night, residents of Green Lodge, County Durham, took part in a week of Scottish themed activities at the home. To start the week’s events, staff organised a quiz evening for residents, putting their knowledge of Burns Night to the test. Later in the week, residents and their families experienced a ‘taste of Scotland’, with foods belonging to the country’s tradition. Scottish shortbread went down a treat. Shirley, a member of staff at the home, said “We had a great week and everyone had fun during the food-tasting afternoon”.
