We want an IT Manager – Full Time, Working a minimum of three days in the Support Centre office/Care Homes
Salary - £45,000 per annum
The purpose of this role is to Supervise information technology (IT) support staff, oversee computer system and software maintenance and repair, assist with computer equipment and installation, and maintain networks and connectivity for users.
And your key responsibilities in this role will be:
- Organises support, troubleshooting and repair of Orchard IT equipment and networks
- Manages day to day support of central infrastructure including Servers, Backups, Storage and Networking
- Manages IT infrastructure uptime within each of the Orchard Care Homes
- Proactively support business critical systems/applications
- Works closely with Head of IT in the delivery of new projects and technologies
- Oversees day to day IT support team and helpdesk activities
- Act as a primary point of escalation for all key IT suppliers to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met. Liaise as necessary with Head of IT to reach desired outcome
- Ensure cybersecurity remains at the forefront of daily activities and users adhere to latest security protection
- Support and contribute to the significant upgrade of business systems planned for 2024 and 2025 which is being led by Head of Systems & Technology. The IT Manager along with head of IT will be a key contributor to the upgrade project and will help manage the BAU operation of business systems.
To be Successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience of working in a Service Management / Helpdesk environment
- Technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows & Windows Server, Active Directory, O365 Admin, SQL(desirable), Group Policy and Office365 platforms
- Technical working knowledge of networking including Firewalls/Routers, WAN and VPN’s
- Required technical knowledge of VMWare
- Required technical knowledge of Unifi networks (setup/config)
- Required technical knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication Software
- Experience of Cloud technologies and migration from legacy on-premise technology beneficial
