They say a dog is man’s best friend, so when two furry visitors came in to see residents at Clipstone Hall and Lodge, there were smiles all around. As part of the home’s pet therapy, pugs Henry and George came to see the resident and, thanks to owner Carrie, the adorable dogs went down a treat, especially with residents Linda, May, Fay and Pauline. They were even allowed on the furniture!  Home Manager, Emma Hill commented, “Pet Therapy has been really successful in the home. We were visited by White Post Farm a few weeks ago and that went down a treat. Henry and George are another welcome addition with our residents loving how soft and playful they are, especially residents with dementia and/or sensory impairments.”  To keep up to date with news from the home, follow us on Facebook and YouTube.
