Introduction to the role
As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be on the front line of ensuring our homes remain of the highest quality and fit for their intended purpose.
No day is ever the same, you could be carrying out essential repairs in Leeds or redecorating a room in Wakefield so its ready to welcome a new person. You will be working within a care setting and you will interact with the people living in the property. It is essential you are a people person, and you can adapt to different working environments.
Ideally you will have a trade background or experience maintaining properties in the car sector. Experience of cyclical maintenance including regulatory checks and Health & Safety knowledge is important to ensure every action is completed to the highest standard and within the regulatory guidelines.
Our maintenance logs are all online via an app, it is important you are IT literate and comfortable using technology. Due to this being a mobile role, a clean driving licence and the flexibility to travel is essential.
Main Duties
To provide a comprehensive maintenance service to all Orchard Care Homes within your specified region. Communicating and interacting with all employees and residents ensuring that your cluster of Orchard Care Homes are kept in good condition both inside and out.
