Hourly rate – £9.50 - £9.75  per hour (higher rate upon proof of required qualification)

Working hours/pattern –  Days or Nights available

  • 08:00 hrs – 20:00 hrs (Days)
  • 20:00 hrs – 08:00 hrs (Nights)

Location –  45 Nesfield Road, Belle Isle, Leeds, LS10 3LG

A Care Assistant plays a vital role in supporting our people living with dementia. You will be part of a team to make sure everyone is cared for with dignity and respect through person-centred care.  You will support individuals in meaningful activities.

No day is ever the same! The position is a challenging but rewarding role that requires you to give individualised personal care. You will be part of our care team that understands each person’s needs and provides a meaningful contribution to their lives.


Main Duties

  • Support people living with dementia based on individual ability with all aspects of personal care including toileting, bathing etc. following person-centred care plans carefully and ensuring that your approach is polite, friendly, warm, and supportive.
  • To always be aware of individuals physical and mental wellbeing.
  • To accurately maintain and update documentation as required.
  • To encourage and support meaningful person-centred activities ensuring individuals’ social and emotional needs are met.
  • To participate in mealtimes ensuring a pleasant experience for our people.
  • To be a team player and able to communicate well, both verbally and written.
