Our specialist Reconnect Dementia Community!

Launched in 2023, Middleton Park Lodge Nursing Home has its very own Reconnect Community, offering specialist care for complex dementia needs.

Our Reconnect dementia communities are designed to help residents remain independent and live a full life, with the support of our incredible dementia-friendly team. With arts & craft spaces, laundry rooms, gardening equipment and even a DIY workshop, residents at Middleton Park Lodge Nursing Home are encouraged to engage in hobbies they've always loved, like painting or sewing. Our aim is to support people living with dementia to reconnect with their past and remain active, whilst our fully-trained carers and nurses assist with daily care requirements.

To ensure your loved one receives an exceptional level of care, our Reconnect communities have a higher ratio of carers, nurses and support workers; all of which have training in dementia care. As part of our Dementia Promise, colleagues receive extensive guidance in care for all types of dementia, includes vascular-dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

"The care home is exactly that! The love and "care" the staff give my mum is above and beyond. The staff are always walking in, chatting to Mum or checking if she wants anything. Her room is always clean and well-maintained.
The food looks gorgeous, and Mum especially enjoys breakfast.

All in all, Mum wouldn't be with us now if it wasn't for the "care" she gets at Middleton Park. Thank you!"
