While undoubtedly some of our day-to-day processes have had to adapt due to coronavirus, the wellbeing and happiness of residents remains our top priority. We have plentiful supplies of PPE and staff receive regular training on the steps we must take to keep everyone safe and well. Indoor and out of care home visits are taking place, with pod or window visits with your loved one available where indoor visits cannot be facilitated due to local restrictions.

Welcome to Eckington Court Nursing Home in Derbyshire!

We offer residential care, nursing care, residential dementia care and short-term respite care.

Situated on Penny Engine Lane, Eckington Court Nursing Home is a spacious, welcoming care home awarded Quality Premium status for good care by Derbyshire County Council. Our North Derbyshire care home has 50 bedrooms with en-suite, all of which can be personalised with your favourite belongings. Whether you want to bring your CD collection, your favourite pillow or prefer to keep things simple, the choice is yours.

Alongside our cosy bedrooms, residents at Eckington Court Nursing Home have plenty of space to explore. From our light and airy sitting areas to our large garden with outdoor seating, loved ones can enjoy relaxing with a good book or chatting with friends over a cup of tea!

From themed weeks, such as our Cruise Around the World food tour, to birthday parties and film nights, our team of Activity Co-Ordinators organise activities we know our residents will love. Meet the Manager

Hello, my name is Trudy Godley and I am the Home Manager at Eckington Court Nursing Home. I have worked in the care sector since 1989 starting as a care assistant before qualifying as a nurse. I worked as both a nursing manager and a registered manager for a number of years before joining Eckington Court in 2016.
